Professional Training with a Personal Touch

I am Claire, the founder and lead trainer here at Insight Training. My approach to education is heavily influenced by my work as a practising therapist at Insight Therapies and extensive background in education, inclusion and social care. By running a successful private practice alongside my training courses, I can ensure that everything you learn is grounded in current, real-life experience.

I believe that counselling skills are the foundation of any career in working with people and becoming a counsellor is a journey of both professional and personal growth. Whether you are taking your first steps at Level 2 or looking to deepen your skills at Level 3, I provide the pastoral care and individual feedback you need to feel confident and capable.

Training Rooted in Experience

I bring over three and a half years of experience delivering workshops to parents, carers, and professionals within local authorities. My work has a strong focus on inclusive practice and neuro-affirming strategies, ensuring that you are equipped to support the diverse needs of your future clients.

Insight Training In A Nutshell

Our Core Values

A Neuro-Affirming Focus

As a licensed trainer with the National Autistic Society, I am passionate about inclusive practice. I teach you how to support neurodivergent individuals in a way that respects their unique experiences and strengths.

Relational Understanding

I believe the relationship between a counsellor and their client is the foundation of change. My courses focus on how to build trust, show genuine empathy, and maintain professional boundaries.

Commitment to Growth

Show your commitment to developing counselling skills, both as a counsellor and in roles across schools, the NHS, social care, and public services. Counselling is a profession built on lifelong learning, and I offer a clear progression pathway alongside accredited CPD workshops to help you continue growing and stay at the forefront of the field long after you qualify.
